VIRTUAL STAGING PHOTO CHECKLIST AI Staging Photos | Updated 2026-10-08 A photo preparation and image-review aid, not a measured survey or a guarantee of listing-platform acceptance. BEFORE PHOTOGRAPHING THE ROOM [ ] Confirm permission to use the photographs. Use photos you own or are licensed to edit and share. Keep client approval with the project. [ ] Remove personal details and temporary clutter. Check paperwork, family photos, screens and mirrors. Prepare an empty room for Stage; use Redesign for existing furniture. [ ] Capture a sharp, evenly lit view. Keep vertical lines straight and show enough floor to understand the space. Avoid a crop that stretches the nearest wall or cabinet. [ ] Keep the original full-size file. Upload JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 20 MB. Retain your own backup; original uploads currently stay in the browser. BEFORE CHOOSING A FINAL IMAGE [ ] Compare every visible structural feature. Match doors, windows, wall corners, ceiling lines, columns, fireplaces, fixed cabinetry and the view outside against the original. [ ] Check that listing finishes stay faithful. Stage should retain the actual floor, wall finishes and fixed fixtures. A Redesign concept may change wall colour and belongs in a different use case. [ ] Check furniture scale and room access. Look for blocked doors, floating legs, oversized beds, intersecting chairs and inaccessible closets. A photograph cannot verify exact dimensions. [ ] Inspect shadows, mirrors and window glass. Review at full size, including reflections, repeated objects and edges. Reject a version that invents or conceals a property feature. BEFORE DELIVERING THE PROPERTY PACKAGE [ ] Review the room set together. Choose a consistent style and identify the final version for each original. Do not mix an unreviewed regeneration into the final set. [ ] Clearly identify digitally furnished images. Keep a virtual staging disclosure with the images. Check the listing destination’s current requirements before publishing. [ ] Include originals, finals and a disclosure. Open the downloaded package and check filenames, image count, resolution and watermark status before sending it to a client. [ ] Save the delivered files outside the browser. Retain the agreed deliverables and handle deletion according to the client’s instructions. Do not rely on browser storage as the only copy. Use and share this checklist with clients. Please check each result against the original photo. Disclosure guidance and dated CRMLS source: https://aistagingphotos.com/virtual-staging-disclosure
